 So when a person approaches online or offline and says they want to be your friend, pull our the paper and say " this is what I define as a friend, is this you?".  Be mindful that people will lie and say yes. But it's up to you to enforce the rules, you have to look out for yourself.  If you don't know someone, do t like them, don't trust them then you shouldn't use the word friend to describe them  When you are clear about what you want and settle for, that's what will be in your life.
